Communities are not built only in meetings, mission statements, or group chats. They are built in the small moments people remember.
This badge is not about having all the answers. It is about learning to notice what is happening beneath the surface: who feels included, who gets lost, who is quietly doing the work, and what small changes could make the community stronger.
The earner took part in an Open Community Leadership activity and looked closely at the experience of being in a community. They explored how community experience shapes participation, connection, ownership, purpose, opportunity, and mentorship. Through reflection and practical activities, they identified patterns in a community they care about and considered how to improve one part of that experience.
