The requirements of this class are:

1. Attend all five 2,5 hour modules and be an active participant. The total live-streaming class time is 12,5 hours, spaced over 2-3 weeks.
2. Have a variety of mandatory materials ready to use, including participants workbook, the book "Training from the BACK of the Room" and an adequate live-streaming and sound system.
3. Do the pre- and post-work for each module. The total hours of reading, viewing, writing, creating, responding is approximately 9 hours.
4. Be an active member of the Online TBR-VE Class Community, support and encourage other class members and deepen your own understanding of brain-based instruction.
5. Fill out an evaluation survey at the end of the TBR-VE Class so that your trainer/producer team can make the class even better for future participants.
   
   

The Learning Outcomes of this class are:

1. Apply 6 brain-science principles based on current research every time you deliver virtual training, regardless of the complexity of the topic, size of group, or level of learners.
2. Use the 4Cs Map as a training design and delivery model for brain-based virtual instruction.
3. Create virtual training sessions that combine your own topic and materials with the brain-based concepts and strategies from the class and demonstrate how to leverage the strengths of virtual learning environments.
4. Explain to colleagues your understanding of cognitive science as it applies to learning, training and memory in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
5. Choose from dozens of virtual brain-based learning activities for all topics.
6. Become an active member of the TBR-VE Class Group and share your own expertise about brain-based virtual instruction and learning.
7. In the asynchronous part of the course: Design your own online training format for your meetings and workshops using the 4Cs Map as training design model and reflect on its effectiveness. You will give and receive feedback from other participants.
